London United Kingdom

We are looking for native speakers of Japanese to help us localise our product.

what3words is a global addressing company that has given every 3m square on the planet an address of 3 random words – for example, our London office is located at ///filled.count.soap. what3words addresses are more accurate than street addresses or postcodes, but much easier to remember and communicate than 16 digit lat-long coordinates. Please see the map at https://what3words.com/ and click the light bulb in the bottom left corner of the page to learn more.

We already have a Japanese version of our product, which you can find at www.what3words.com (switch the what3words address language to Japanese) or via the App Store. However, if you explore the map in detail, you will find that while the land areas of the world are fully localised in Japanese, many areas in the oceans revert to English. Our task now is to find evaluate another 15,000 Japanese words to fill these areas with fully localised what3words addresses.
