what3words is revolutionising the way the world talks about location. Street addresses aren’t accurate enough to specify specific entrances, and they don’t exist for parks, rural areas and many parts of the world. This causes frustration, inefficiencies and can be dangerous.

That’s why we created what3words.

We have divided the globe into a grid of 3m x 3m squares, and given each one a unique combination of three words: a what3words address. It’s an easy way to find and share precise locations.

what3words is being used in 193 countries, and our monthly active users continue to grow at an impressive pace. Our tech is used by thousands of emergency services, delivery companies, eCommerce businesses, ride-hailing apps and NGOs, and is integrated into the navigation systems of millions of cars around the world.

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who is ready to join a rapidly growing business and build a new global standard for addressing. We have an exciting year ahead, with new partners joining every day and need someone with drive and ambition to join the Partner Marketing Team. This role will report into the Head of Partner Marketing.

You will be responsible for developing communications in partnership with the many businesses and organisations who use what3words. Our partners are wide-ranging across a range of verticals from ecomm and logistics, travel and sports to emergency and infrastructure; providing an exciting mix of opportunities to work with everyone from the likes of Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini, Airbnb and DPD to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Our partners and their customers can be anywhere in the world so this role requires a global outlook.

You will work seamlessly with a range of teams in the business to help open up partner marketing opportunities and ensure they are maximised across a range of channels to drive forward business objectives. This includes syncing closely with the Business Development team, using your great relationship-building skills to help bring partners on board and develop strong launch and activation plans. You will then work with our creative in-house team or external production partners to bring campaigns to life and find opportunities to hero our partner network across PR, B2C and owned channels.

what3words is a global business and whilst we do have a focus on some key markets (UK, Germany, US, India, South Korea, Japan, EMEA) this role is global and you should expect to travel often and work with a range of partners from all corners of the world.

We are looking for someone who is bursting with ideas, has a strong strategic mindset, and can adapt with the pace of a fast-growing business. You should have solid experience working with a range of businesses in a marketing capacity either as clients or partners. You should feel very comfortable talking about a wide-range of aspects and approaches to marketing with little need for preparation. You will be great at working independently, driving projects forward proactively and thinking creatively “in the room”.

what3words is a unique business with a powerful vision to become a global standard - this role will be an exciting chance to join us on the journey to making that a reality.
