Finding bus stops easily with SBB and what3words

Swiss Federal Railways, SBB, is Switzerland’s national transport company. To help people find bus stops easily, it has built a database which lists information for each bus stop in Switzerland along with their 3 word addresses in German, French, Italian and English.

When trying to find the Montagnola Poporino bus stop, people can look it up on the SBB database. They’ll be able to view the bus stop’s 3 word address in German: ///mach.einzeln.wegweiser , French: ///compléter.arriver.pelons , Italian: ///provalo.diceva.lombi and English: ///woes.rests.tentacles . They can enter any of these 3 word addresses into Swiss Topo Maps to find the exact location.
