Jacked Foods uses what3words for supply chain visibility
Jacked Foods produce delicious vegan snacks made from 100% dried fruits. It was founded by three friends who met while volunteering in Uganda and loved the unique jackfruit so much they had to find out more. This took them on a journey visiting farms and farmers, discovering that they could bring these delicious snacks to people around the world while supporting the development of the supply chains needed to produce, package and sell the fruits.
Jacked Foods is passionate about transparency and ensuring every farmer and supplier is fairly rewarded. That’s why it’s using what3words to help create a fully traceable supply chain, allowing customers to find out exactly where the fruit is grown, who grew it, and the journey it took to get to them.
Why do Jacked Foods use what3words?
what3words has divided the world into 3 metre squares and given each square a unique combination of 3 random words – a what3words address. For example, ///cultured.party.branded is the precise location in Tanzania where Jacked Foods fruits are packaged. It’s a simple way to talk about location, especially when places have no street address like farm buildings and fields. It’s also global and available in 50 languages, making it the perfect solution for Jacked Fruits to show the precise locations across the whole supply chain.
