We’re excited to share the news that what3words is now available in Arabic, opening up our platform to the world’s 230 million Arabic speakers. With 14 language versions in total, more than 3 billion people can now use what3words.

For a taste of what’s in store, check out our Arabic launch film.

Last year we began working with global logistics giant Aramex in the Middle East. Now we have some great new Arabic partners to showcase, and we’re looking forward to partnering with more Arabic businesses in the near future.

Our Arabic partners cover a huge variety of industries and countries and include:

  • Jaguar Land Rover, is using what3words to help drivers discover the hidden gems of the Middle East with ARDHI, its off-road adventuring app.
  • Women’s clothing retailer Vanilla.sa in Saudi Arabia is using 3 word addresses to ensure that every customer receives their purchase exactly where they need it.
  • Next Future Transportation is working to bring autonomous vehicles to Dubai. 3 word addresses are guiding their driverless pods to precise pick-up and drop-off points.
  • Aramex is using what3words in its e-commerce fulfilment operations across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia to further enhance its last mile delivery solutions.

You can try out the Arabic map site for yourself, on the what3words website, or via our free app, available on iOS and Android.

We hope you enjoy using what3words. If there’s a business you think could be using 3 word addresses, please do tell them about us. Or drop us an email.
