MapAble is a web based GIS application that allows non-GIS professionals access to the benefit of spatial analysis & map visualization. Though very sophisticated it does not require highly specialized skills levels to operate.

It is universally accessible through the web and allows users to work individually or collaborate in teams. It also comes packaged with about 300 South African national datasets including Infrastructure, Settlements, Facilities & Environmental.

In keeping with their philosophy of making GIS as accessible as possible they have now included 3 word addresses in the system.

what3words is a global address system. It has divided the world into 3m x 3m squares, each with a unique 3 word address. Now people can refer to any precise location – a delivery entrance, a picnic spot or a drone landing point – using just three words. Words can easily be remembered, written, said, printed or shared digitally. The use of words means non-technical people can find any location accurately and communicate it more quickly, more easily and with less ambiguity than any other system.
