reach net zero by 2030.
Tech Zero Taskforce
what3words is part of a task force that develops recommendations for policy changes in the UK, that will enable a more rapid low-carbon transition.
Measuring Emissions
This year we measured our TV and digital advertising emissions for the first time. Our ability to influence these emissions is limited, but we believe it’s important to be transparent about the full scope of our carbon footprint.
2022 Carbon Footprint Report
In collaboration with
Supercritical
, we’ve calculated what3words’ carbon footprint in 2022.
This year we will offset 200 tonnes, which we will do through afforestation credits. In addition, we are working with Supercritical to look at ways to reduce our carbon footprint in the office (in order to help further reduce our carbon footprint per employee), as well as give suggestions of how employees can do so at home.
