Commitment to Net Zero
Following COP26, we are developing a set of bold commitments together with our partners, in an effort to
reach net zero by 2030.
Tech Zero Taskforce
what3words is part of a task force that develops recommendations for policy changes in the UK, that will enable a more rapid low-carbon transition.
Tech Zero Toolkit
The task force produced a Tech Zero toolkit to demystify climate jargon and make it simpler for companies to set a net zero plan.
With its global footprint, the task force shares learnings with businesses and governments around the world.
2020 Carbon Footprint Report
In collaboration with Supercritical, we’ve calculated what3words carbon footprint in 2020.
We have also worked with them to offset our 2020 emissions in their entirety with carbon removal to help us get to net zero. 75% of our offsets are biochar, a permanent carbon removal method.
