what3words will be making visitors’ lives easier at Goodwood Festival of Speed next month by helping them navigate the 11,500 acre site more easily than ever before.

The Festival of Speed will use 3 word addresses to pinpoint and direct visitors to its 10 most important locations. For example, ///nudge.grab.earliest marks the entrance to a car park, while guests can find the hillclimb start line at ///clusters.lawfully.darts
Each attraction will display a 3 word address sign so that guests know exactly where to meet friends and family. Download the free what3words app or visit the map site to easily find your way around and find your friends or family, once you arrive.

‘The Goodwood Festival of Speed site is large and we want everyone to absolutely maximise their visit to the event’, said Giles Rhys Jones, what3words CMO. ‘Now guests have an easy and accurate way of finding specific attractions, car parking spots and exact meeting points for friends and family.’

If you’re attending, make sure to visit the Festival of Speed Future Lab at ///sides.decoded.heightens and find our what3words exhibit inside. You’ll be able to check out new product demos, interactive displays and learn more about our exciting automotive projects from our awesome team.

You can even print your own personalised 3 word address souvenir to take home with you.

There will also be a dynamic Festival of Speed World Map on a giant screen, highlighting the grand international scale of the Goodwood audience. Festival-goers will be able to find their 3 word address and add themselves to the map.

The what3words exhibit will be open throughout the Festival of Speed, from 12th to 15th July 2018, from 7am to 7pm each day. Make sure you stop by and say hello!
